  • Good lookin car
    wish I had a brougham
  • Clean lines. No wonder everyone wants to modify Mercs to look like these.
  • Unless you know something I don't, It's a sedan. What options make a Wasp a Brougham? J.R.

Not an option... Hudson stepdown 2 door sedans were designated Brougham as were the stepdown convertibles they manufactured. :)

brougham was the term hudson used for a 2 door sedan from 48-53. It was also used on convertibles i.e. convertible brougham though completely unrelated as the convertibles were coupe not sedan based.
  • Coool,Did not know that.Thanks for the info. J.R.

Yep and in 1954 they called them "Club Sedans" but we're still talking about the same two-door sedan body style. I had a '50 Pacemaker Brougham your Wasp reminds me of. Great car.
