Looks like a pretty fine truck. '38 to boot . . . probably not too many around.

Hudson sure made very good looking PU's. Surprised their commercial vehicle business didn't do better.

Aaron I'd be willing to bet that no Hudson dealer ever "floored" a Hudson commercial vehicle. I've never seen a dealership photo with a PU or other comm. vehicle, in it. On the other hand, Chevy & Fraud dealers may have so only a "Hudson lover", who was willing to wait weeks, if not longer, would have ordered one.

The best looking PUs were, I've always thought, the Stude. Coupe Express & they are quite rare & much sought after.
  • I wonder what it went for?
  • Oops.

Realistically, what would something like that go for?

    Barry-

I think Rick's about right, I was thinking 25-30, but it's at an auction and if two bidders go at it, could go around 40-45K if it's as nice as it looks.

So glad you're a lurker here on this board! Didn't realize you were a Hudson fan. I spotted your webpage several years ago and then lost you as one of my "Favorites" after a laptop upgrade. Just spent a couple of hours catching up. Trailer looks fantastic!! Absolutely awesome, you have great taste in automobiles and your work is quite inspiring. I'm soon to be in the market for an auto hauler, but will probably just go with an off the shelf example. You make me want to look for a REAL hauler! LOL!

If I remember right, you are in Mich., aren't you? Are you aware that the Hudson Nat'l. will be from July 13-17th in Pontiac? You should come, even if only for a day or two. If you are too young to remember Hudson dealerships, then you'll never have a better opportunity to see more Hudsons in one place. We've got over 300 cars registered currently ready to attend.
