Don't know if this will help dig up any more clues.
Located in Oceanside, CA. VIN ID H5248. Maybe in the club roster (I don't have mine in front of me at the moment).

I think I remember this car now! Buzz Stahl & I went to see it when the widow who inherited it wanted to sell it about 10 years ago - she lived in a mobile home park sorta "out in the boondocks" north of Escondido, Cal.

It ended up being auctioned off locally & we lost track of it.

It was a pretty nice original car as I remember but had some sort of mechanical problem as I recall. Buzz was semi-interested in buying it at the time.

OOPS, goofed; car we went to see was an Essex 4 cabriolet NOT this car.

Buzz saw this car about a month ago, came from up north, Mont.(?); current owner inherited it, nows nada about old cars.

If interested in learning more contact him.

Yes, Buzz Stahl went to see this car. He is on this forum and could offer more information. He thought that it was over priced, but I don't know any more than that.

he sent me an e-mail about it & a few issues in re body integrity; guess I could forward it to anyone sincerely interested.

There's a 1921 Doctor's coupe in WI that needs restoration but is in better shape than you'd think because it has an aluminum body.
