    One could hope that this fellow slipped up and put an extra zero in there. And even $50,000 would be a stretch, I think. But apparently somebody asked him about his

    price as he mentions further down that "price is $500,000".



    Must be the sterling silver handles.

    What a joke! It's worth 5-10K, tops as it sits. You'd think someone asking 1/2-a-million bucks would at least drag it out and clean it up. Then take about 30 quality pictures. How about getting it appraised first before listing it as a starting bid of 500,000? Geez, that would be too smart. 6 months from now it will be listed back on E-Bay for 25K and the seller will lose all credibility. Don't some people realize that presentation is nearly priceless, both for the good and the bad?

    i sent the guy a note saying old car price guide would put the value of this car in the 8000 to 10000 range and asked what it was about this car that would put the value at half a million. he has not responded. probably too busy taking $500000 offers. LOL! regards, tom

    Me I am waiting till the last second to snipe this beauty it says it has sterling silver door handles ....you guys know what sterling silver is worth these days...well me neither but it must be worth what he is asking for it or why else would he ask it......I am photocopying monopoly money as we speak I may try and swing a deal and throw in market street as well.......
