Are the exhaust and intake GUIDES made of the same material so that they interchange ? --Thanks--BUD

I think they were the same, but while you are on that subject if you are rebuilding a 1937 Terraplane 212 you are better off using the 1938- 1947 valves and guides as they are a different stem diameter than 1936-1937. The valves are the same except diameter of stems. Chuck G
