Try Waldron's Exhaust, I believe they're well thought-of. http://waldronexhaust.com/shop/index.php?cPath=61_42
Avoid using a particular exhaust fabricator whose name begins with "K". (And I'm not talking about Dave Kostansek or Kanters', by the way!)0 -
I seriously contemplated using Waldron's for my '46 but a shop here in Bozeman--Silent Knight--was highly recommended by a local Hudson man.
They did a first-rate job, used aluminized metal and had the work done the next day--$150--guts, bones and feathers! Waldron was $270 for the system plus the freight.
If I have any problems, I know where to find him.
If there is a good pipe bender in your locale, I would consider using him and skip the pre-made systems.0 -
The single Hudsonite with a need for a custom exhaust will do themselves and the local economy a whole lot of good if they buy from the local provider. My 53 Wasp has a "local muffler shop" exhaust that has preformed flawlessly for 26 years. The cost for the manifold to rear bumper installation was $100.00. A pricely sum then and even now. But the point is that $100.00 circulated in my town and I got what the Hudson needed. Just my 2 cents/0
