what year hudson used a tail light with a fin on it

what year did they use these ?. sorry ,I dont know how to post a picture on here. email me & I will send you one. heres some info. on it... they have the triangle in the red glass & is 3" in dia.,2" long, (fin is 1 1/8" of the 2' ). on the top of chrome light it says standard."these have to be a light they didnt use for too many years as they would of broken easy. thanks. durocar@aol.com

  • In all due respect.. huddy42, I have looked at 30 pictures on the net & none of them shows these tail lights or anything close on the year you said. please tell me where I can confirm your year, in the meantime maybe some else can help me also. respectfully,"this guy"as I am refered to by huddy42.
  • Look at the tail light itself rather than the lense as the lenses long ago went THAT-A-WAY . ----BUD

    Here's the photo that was sent to me on this -

    Did a bit of pokeing around on the net out of curiosity and I would have to conclude that 36 HUDSON only is correct,only used that year and not on the Terraplane. The little fin is barely visable in some old brochures and pics , what we see on the restored cars does not have the fin because apparently it is just not available----BUD

    I got a NOS one off ebay recently and they do come up from time to time.
