Yes Russell, I still need, let me know how much including postage cost, etc., also could you send directly to the company/gentleman who doing my hydrograpics water transfer wood grain; following address is mailing address:

To your knowledge was defroster shield trim wood grained? Also is rear bench seat same size in both sedan and coupe or is a coupe a little smaller?

Not a problem, I'll try and send it tomorrow.

You know, Ray, I'm still in a quandry about the defroster vents. On Doc, my sedan, it has all the original pieces and finish on them, and it's hard to tell, my best observation is, originally, those pieces on a brown car were just brown (blue on a blue interior, etc.), and not burl-grained on a '51 or leather-grained on a '52. I've seen some convertibles that had them faux-grained like the dash and they look outstanding that way. Originally though, I don't think they were.

That's really a question for Bill A., Hudzilla, Dave & Nick Sollon, Ken Cates, or any other # of Hudson Gurus. I'm sure they could give a more accurate and credible answer.

Car is really looking awesome, keep the pics coming.

    Russell,

Don't sell yourself short, both you, Dan, Ken U., Walt Mordenti and the list goes on, belong in Hudson Gurus Club. Yes I am really pleased with both workmanship quality and progress, hopefully will attempt to fire it up in next two visits?

I owe you one, Thanks again,

    Russell and Ray.

I have an original blue interior on a 52 Sedan and it is slightly different from a 51 and maybe different than a 52 brown interior. The defroster vents. trim around the windshield, and trim around the windows are faux finished in the leather grained look but are more of a taupe color than blue. I have seen this same color scheme on two other 1952's with original blue interiors so I know it is correct. The metal trim piece where the window cranks are is blue leather grain matching the blue vinyl. It seems this year Hudson was trying to tie together the blue, tan and off white stripe colors in the cloth with matching leather grained trim. I believe the brown was the same leather look color on all the metal interior trim. Depending on the color Ray is doing the interior may determine what he wants to have faux leather.
