We observed here that Ed McMahon, who died a couple days before was part of the three along with MJ and FF. Billy Mays starts a new 3 I think . . .

And we always have Oxy-Clean on hand- Great stuff.

I don't know about you guys but the MJ 24/7 is getting really old. I enjoyed his music, but later he just became one sick human being, very sad. However, running this stuff all the time about him is just too much.

Perfect spot for "Vince" from shamwow to cut in.
  • Yup, good ol' Vince. "You're gonna love my nuts!", and the same guy who got his tongue bit by a hooker and he proceeded to beat the crap out of!

Add another to the list - Impressionist Fred Travalena, a headliner in Vegas showrooms and a regular on late-night talk shows with his takes on presidents, crooners and screen stars, has died in Los Angeles. He was 66.

Well, that must be true, 'cause James Dean doesn't have anything on me . . . except that he's dead.

There's a "blast from the past"- about 25 years ago, during summer vacation from law school, the going wage for "legal interns" in Seattle was $7 per hour. By the time I took the ferry across the sound, paid for parking and bus ride, and child care for 3 kids, I'd have been lucky to make a buck an hour. So I stayed home and was Mr. Mom that summer. One of the highlights of our day was watching a crazy program called "Anything for Money", hosted by the zany Fred Travalena. He would offer money to people selected on the street to do something ridiculous, and often embarassing, like giving a speech on the street corner, trying to sell an extremely ugly little dog to passersby, etc. The kids loved it. Fred added a lot with his antics.

Last year Fred was a guest on "At Your Request" a local entertainment TV show that I sponsored and had filmed in my piano store. A real nice guy.

Well add one more, Gale Storm! When I was very very young I remember watching "My Little Margie" on very early morning reruns. This was circa 1959 - 1960. She was 87! The show started its run in 1952, wow that was on the cutting edge.

That reminds me of my favorite one-liner from "The Johnny Carson Show" with Johnny as "Carnac the Magnificent"

    Ed McMahon: Proboscophobia

Carnac: The fear of having Karl Malden walk up to you on the street and ask to borrow your hankerchief
