were MUD FLAPS an option in 1954?
This may sound a little weird; however, the flaps certainly
would help to reflect small rocks from the road that always
find a way to chip the paint down low on the bodies and/or
behind the wheels. The rocks even bounce up and hit the
gas tank filler tube, gas tank, side SS moldings, frames, etc.
Any knowledgeable guidance relating to available Hudson
options in this topic arena would be appreciated.
