I had mine color matched by a local powder coating guy. He was able to match them pretty much on the money. He did put a coat of clear on top to bring out the shine.0

The wheels on my 50 Pacemaker Brougham still have what I believe to be the original paint, Cream Yellow. Don't know if it's "correct" though.0

I am sure this question has come up before, but were all stepdown wheels this color, or did they also come in body color? I have also seen many painted red?0

From what I was able to determine while restoring my 49. Red wheels were standard on all gray/silver and bronze/tan colored Hudsons 48-50. All other colors used the cream wheels.0
