Looking good!
keep an eye on the water temperature, wouldn't hurt to carry a couple extra gallons of coolant/water in the trunk, slow driving means little or no airflow.0 -

Dan:
Thank you for displaying our flag. Some people dont realize the flag is to be mounted on the front leading edge of the vehicle. Some think it is ok to hang the flag on a pole mounted on the back of a pickup truck. I think using a truck is ok, just mount the flag on the front. Any other thoughts? Thanks for all who served this great country. Have a safe 4th. Bob0 -
I also have my flags mounted on the front of my truck.
Bob,
What about all the fire trucks driving around with flags mounted on poles on the back of their rigs?0 -
My way of thinking is no matter where you display it on your car it is an addition to the car and the parade. I know, I know--there are a lot of rules that go with the display of the stars and stripes, but come-on, not everyone is going to read them with the same gusto that an old drill sargent would? My 52 had a flag decal right in the lower center of the back window. I would rather see the flag displayed (even if it it somewhat in error) than not. Just my simple way of thinking.....

Bob, I didn't know that. Thanks. Our family, Grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, cousins 1st, 2nd and 3rd from all over So. Calif. meet in Filmore, Ca to selebrate the birth of our nation. We arive about 9am look at the car show all over town. Then we gather for diner. Then we head to the football stadium for the firework display. I believe it is the last place in So. Calif. where you can legally buy fireworks and light them anywhere in town. Everyone is allowed to light their fireworks on the track around the football field until aboiut 9pm. The lights go out and the national anthem is played and the main fireworks display begins. We had a wonderful time. Lee0
