Thanks, Hudsonkid.
I did call the carb shop and at $80 for the rod, not in the cards right now. He was very helpful with regards to possible ignition probs to look for which may be helpful as well.
May keep looking too.

Where would I look to find a # 75-411 metering rod for my Carter WA 1 carb?
Any leads or ideas would be great!
Thanks again!
T Jeff
I've got 4, and only need 2 of them for my build...they all start with "75-" have different end sequence numbers...anyone know if these are all interchangable or are they specific based on the end sequences?0 -
Hey Dan,
From what I have come up with they are different based on the carb model.
Different models take different sequences and some are even different lengths.
My spec sheet lists 4 specific rods as: standard, 1 step lean, 2 steps lean, and 3 steps lean.

Hey Dan,
are any of them 75-411?
If anyone by chance comes across one at the Nat'l (and it isnt a $mall fortune!) and could pick it up for me that would be most wonderful!
I would then purchase it from you
THANKS,

Not one of them!
In fact there are no matching numbers out of all 4 if I recall - I'm going out to the shop later I'll get the exact numbers and post them.0
