Far fetched idea, but I wonder if many 55-57 owners didn't feel sort of left out because this was touted as the 100th Hudson Anniversary National and so didn't come to celebrate with us.

I certainly hope this wasn't the case - we all know they would have been welcome.

  • I had my '56 at the Wichita Nats in '02. It was one of just four - there was a '55 that belonged to a now-deceased member from Texas (I think his name was Brent), and a nice '57 tri-tone that belonged to the guy in Nebraska that lost a bunch of cars in a shop fire a couple of years ago. Plus one other '57. There was also a Hudson Met there, too.

In Reno, there was the '55 on the casino floor and one other (a '56, IIRC). It's a shame that more don't show. I rather like the Hashes, personally!

Paul, glad to see you had your car there, despite the troubles...what would a road trip in a 52-year-old car be without them!

Left out...nah. They were busy getting ready for AMC's 100 year gala in 2054. ;)

I don't know how many 55-56-57 Hudsons there are in the club. It might be possible there was a higher % of them at the nationals then % of step downs. Very interesting. Anyone care to figure it out? Lee
  • If you go on utube, there are three separate movies of the years that were there
