Is there any interest in an aluminum head for an 1950 8 cyl. engine? It's still on the car in western MA. Car also has a 3sp (O/D?).

    Is the engine shot or what? Might be worth it to sell the eng/trans together than just take off the head.

    I would be interested in the engine & trans(O/D) as a package if the price is right. Although I am not real interested in the aluminum head. I live in S. eastern Ma. email @ (HETsuper6esx@comcast.net), drop the HET to email.

    I assume the engine is stuck, it has been sitting for a very long time. To get the entire engine and tranny off would be an effort. I'm sure the yard owner would be willing to drag it out, he has done so with other "planters" in his yard. Certainly more money involved though. I can ask what he is willing to do and how much.
