oil filter lines
Ive read the forum and still cannot find anyone who has a place to purchase the supply lines for a fram oil canister. I read somewhere here to use the flex lines from a greese gun, thats a good idea but i cannot find any with a swivel end. Therefore i cannot get the second line on.
what is the cable end i need? is it considered a NTP style connector 1/4 inch?
Any ideas?
thanks

If you want flexible new fuel lines you may get lucky and find them on ebay but a quicker way would be to just get fuel line from an auto parts store and fab your own. Brake lines are easier to bend but have a dimished capacity to carry oil since the internal diameter of the line is smaller. If you go to a flexible line fabricator get ready to shell out about $40 for a couple of lines. Use a brass reducer to go from the brake line connector to the oil canister. You'll need four total. two for the canister and two to go to the block. Good luck.0

Have your tried agricultural supply places like Tractor Supply? You should be able to access these vendors via the INTERNET if there is not a box store in your area. Tractor Supply has flexible lines for several applications which fit the canister type oil filters. Suspect if you access thier online store you can find what you need.

I give this info again. Weatherhead makes the perfect replacement lines. They used to be called oil filter lines but now have a different name. Any parts dealer who carries Weatherhead can find these in the Weatherhead catalog. Somewhere I have numbers written down if you have trouble.0
