Steering Column Sleeve Bearing

I need to get my steering column sleeve re-chromed, and cant get the inside bearing removed. Are there any tips or procedures that will help, or is this not removable?

It's easy. Just turn it upside down. get a broom, cut the end off, put it inside from the bottom and tap away. It will only come through the top. When it goes back in it has to sit on the 2 little bumps inside. Very easy job. Pack the bearing with wheel bearing grease when you reinstall. Walt.
