essex window frame on e-bay?

I'm trying to determine if this window frame will fit my car. The ad says 20-28 Overland Essex windshield frame. I have a 25 Overland, which has nothing to do with Essex. Can anyone tell me if the window is indeed off an Essex? The seller says the stanchions are 30" center to center where they go into the body. That is different, and they look different, slightly, than mine but the other measurements are the same. 37 1/2" window frame. I just need the frames. I don't want to buy the wrong thing. The seller doesn't know exactly what it came from, or that Hudson and Willys-Overland are 2 different companies.

That windshield frame on Ebay is nothing like was used on any Essex from 1919-28. I hope this will be a help to you considering this purchase.



Unfortunately, it seems to be very common when folks have no clue what a particular part actually fits, they list it on Ebay as being for an Essex. They might as well say that it could fit a Duesenberg for the good it does them.:(

Thanks, I also notice a lot of people think any old car part fits a Model T. I've gotten good deals on Overland parts listed as Model T parts. That's good for me because I get them cheap since nobody bids on them.
