What sort of material was used to cover the rear shelf in a '54 Hornet? Is it still available?

Basically, it's the same stuff used for interior door panels. Use multiple layers for a stiffer piece. Also, ABS can be used and heated with a heat gun for a molded in look. Cover with same material that's used on the doors (vinyl or leather, not the cloth piece).



Most reputable upholstery suppliers carry said material.
