Hudson Upholstery Kit Information

Hi,

Can anyone recommend where to get a good quality leather upholstery kit

for a 1949 Hudson Commodore.



I am shipping some parts over to Australia for my restoration in the next month and was hoping to be able to have a kit made.



Any assitance would be appreciated !!

    I have used Hampton Coach in the past for all my interior needs. With leather what I have done in the past is go to a good quality leather shop and buy ne necessary hides needed (matching them up myself for grain and color) and took them to my long time shop that cuts and puts them on. I know that this is a cop-out but I never was that good with a sewing machine and this is one area where I feel it has to be right. :):)

    The Hampton Coach website does not mention Hudsons. Have you bought a kit from them or sent in the parts?

    I simply buy material from them then cut to fit and sew to match....

    That makes sense. My Super Six deservises a better interior than my sewing could ever do.



    DLROCK, I am giving Under Cover Upholstery a try. I am taking off the old fabric and sending it to them as a patteren and they will make a kit from it. Did not ask about leather but it is on their website: http://www.ucuap.com
