I need to get a set of hornet front wheel hubs, Where can i find a good set?

If anyone has any for sale please leave me a PM with the price and condition of the hubs.

What im trying to do is replace my 53 wasp front hubs and upgrade the shoes and wheel cylinders to the hornet for better braking. Has anyone else had any luck doing so?

thanks

    Yes,

    The larger Hornet Shoes & Drum work pretty well...Try Dave Kostansek 440 293 4079 for larger those parts;

    If you want to convert to Disc Brakes, contact Richard Pridemore who makes a nice conversion Kit at 336 427 4930.

    I have installed both set-ups.
  • Try Bill and Charlies Antique Auto Parts. They bought out Ken and Kay Ammans Hudson inverntory and have a LOT of Hudson stuff. Ask for Mike. Here is the contact info:

    The 1952 thru 1952 Wasp & '53 & '54 Super Wasp came from the factory with the same front brakes as the Hornet

    Specifically, 2 1/4 wide x 11 inch diameter.

    The Pacemaker fronts were 1 3/4 x 11 as are all rear brakes

    I found a set from a local guy here for a great price.

    Thanks for all the input.
