Cars needed for Hilton Head Concours

The Hilton Head Concours on Nov 1 this year will include a special Hudson class, to showcase the cars that Hudson and AMC built over the marque's history. I got tagged with the responsibility for selecting a suitable lineup of cars to tell the story. I'm doing OK with most time periods with the help of some dedicated and willing Hudson owners, including the Hostetler Hudson Museum. But ... I've not been able to find good examples and owners able to bring these cars: Model 20 (1909-1910), late teens or early twenties Hudson, and a '51-'53 Hornet coupe. Anyone having and willing to bring any of these (or if you know someone who can), please contact me ASAP: E-mail to hetpwald@comporium.net (remove "het" for actual address). The cars don't have to be "concours level" in appearance, but do need to be very nice, a solid #2 or better. I know it's surprising that something like a Hornet coupe is tough to find, but when you limit it to just the really nice ones, then have the typical schedule conflicts, etc., it turns out to be harder than you'd guess. And for the older models, most of them are in the more northern states where the long distance and potential weather in late October/early November become factors.

The Hilton Head event has come to be considered by many as the #4 concours in the country. Weather is usually nice, and the setting is attractive. See the web site: http://www.hhiconcours.com.

If you know someone who owns one of the needed models, ring 'em up and encourage them to respond. Thanks to all.
