36 radiator question

I had my 36 H radiator pressureized for use with the 350 Chev engine, but it does not cool sufficiently. It's a honeycomb style. Has anyone had a new core installed or new radiator built for this?

Also, has anyone replaced the rear springs and shackles in a 36, with an aftermarket setup? thanks, Jerry ( the silver 36 H)

    FYI

I have a '37 with a modified Hornet motor that I had a 3 core 'hi- efficiency' core installed into the original radiator straps & tanks. I also re positioned the inlet & outlets. Its a big cooling improvenent going modern core and also change the system over to a pressurized cap system. ('36 and up are not pressurized)

Additionally, ensure all the air is going thru (and not over, under, or around the radiator by fabricating shrouds to direct airflow... Been there with that problem.....

Regarding springs, I have utilized the stock springs and had new leafs made when needed. I also drill & insert nylon sliders between leafs to enhance ride and prevent squeeks. Dont see any reason couldnt retro-fit something else though....
