This one has been on e-bay and CL before, but now it's at a $14,000 BIN price tag:

What do you guys think? Looks like a fairly nice build, no? Anybody here seen this car?

Looks like a great deal, if you can get beyond the paint job. But if you're thinking of building one like it, you could buy at BIN price and repaint to suit, and still have less than half the build cost in it.

IMHO, those cars look best with an understated, dark color- like black cherry or a deep blue.
  • Wow! Nicely built car, not all my choices, but he did a good job on it. I would have left the grill chrome, those '52's have the best looking grille once you take the toothpicks outta it's nose! I have almost $10K into mine and it's a POS pile of parts! Someday.......I keep telling myself.
  • i've seen it up close wasn't impressed its been for sale for a few years. was in a mecum auction when i saw it. i was a long way away when i saw it and thought that looks cool but if i remember getting closer didn't help the car. i think it was twice that amount then. i think its getting down where it belongs in price. 8,000 and i would really check out the work done on it first.
