Take a look at the new HET club website
You will have to use www.hetclub.com for right now. Hetclub.org hasn't appeared to update. Please be patient!
If you are a HET club member, log in using your member id for username and last name (case sensitive) to log into the site.
Over the next couple of weeks and months we will continue to make updates. Let us know what you think!
Update:
www.hetclub.org and www.hetclub.com are both pointed towards the new site. Take a look at the new site

Hi, Aaron:
I just got a username and password today from Terry Ray, but it doesn't seem to work. Whe you say "member I.D.", do you mean my membership number as shown on the WTN wrapper? When you say "last name" would that be the password?
Looks like you've revamped the "entry foyer" from when I was last there this afternoon!
Just went back and noticed that, indeed, you DO mean to use the membership number for username, and last name as password. Should have read the new homepage more carefully before asking.
So, I guess the process of asking the HET webmaster for a password and username, is no longer necessary....right?0 -
That is correct. However I batch loaded all the members from the member database, so there is always a chance that a couple folks may have trouble. If your member id and last name dont work, just shoot Charlotte and e-mail with the information you are using and she can provide you with what you need OR send me an e-mail and tell me to fix it! : )0

The new site looks really nice!0 -
I like the new look, very professional and "current" to today's web style.0

Guess I'll have to wait for my next WTN since I just threw out the information necessary for accessing the website.0

I could not get on. I placed ,what I believe is my club #( 5 digits on the mailing label) in user name and my last name in the password box. Nada. I used all small letters and first letter capitalized with no luckin the password. Ron0

There are instructions on the site for how to get your member id and password. You can send an e-mail to Charlotte (membership) with your info and she can send back the member id and last name that is on the account. At some point I hope to be able to have someone enter there e-mail and send back their information. We just arent there yet. If you have problems you can always e-mail hetclub@gmail.com and I can help you.0

Rick, you should be able to get to the site either by hetclub.org or hetclub.com.
This is basically a totally new site. Terry Ray let the club know that he would no longer be able to continue to support the site. He did a fantastic job setting up the site, but he had coded it straight from html. We also had to funnel all changes through him. He like everybody else has a real job and it was time consuming. We decided to switch over to the Joomla based website, so that anyone who has responsibility for a section can log on and make change. For example, if Carmen gets updates on a chapter, she just goes to the site and makes the change. The username and password are solely for the club and based on club member information. Please let us know if there is any thing that we can improve upon. Lew Bird will be posting the classifieds out of the WTN, and then we will work to reinstitute online submission for classified to the WTN. Thanks0 -
I was able to successfully login and have one suggestion to make for users once you've been able to successfully log in a couple times and are familiar with the process. After logging in, you will see "User Menu" appear on the left column. Click on "Your Details, " where you'll not only be able to select your appropriate Time Zone, but also confirm your e-mail address and change your password.
I took the time to look through the site a little more and was surprised to see that under the HET Club tab, then Services, then Photo Gallery - all the pictures from the old picture site had been saved! (MSN? Don't remember.)0 -
Sarah, you can thank Jon Battle for that. When MSN shut down their picture site, they moved everything to Multiply. We are looking for different options for pictures. ClassicCar's Hudson Club site (hudsonclub.com) has a picture repository as well. I would love to establish "Member picture pages" where members could have their own page of each car in their collection. The other thing I will be working on is, for each registry owner, have a listing of locations for specific parts for their year/years of cars. Then we could cover all the questions of which current NAPA number is the modern replacement.0
