Can you use the VIN to find the original paint code for a Hudson? If so, where do you start?

    In a word, no. However, the paint codes, on step-downs was stamped into the right front door pillar - above the serial number plate, as I recall.



    I have the Hudson paint and Ditzler code numbers from 1941-1954 - and earlier Ditzler intermix codes.
