There is a world wide Hudson dealer directory available through the HET club store. There were some dealers back in those days who were farm and implement dealers who happened to be licenesed to sell a few Hudson's on the side. I've heard also a few that ran service stations an occasionally sold one ordered from the factory. Not all dealers then were the same as we think of dealerships today.

I googled "Tulsa Hudson Dealers" and found a posting (in some bulletin board) that said the Tulsa police used Hudsons at some point during the 1940's. So....there must have been a dealer there at some point!

yes there were Hudson "Service Stations'. Not always what we consider a service station by todays standards. I ran across one in Stoney Creek Virginia back in the 70's. It was on what was then US-1 and was a farm equipment dealer as a primary business. The wife of the owner said they were an "Authorized Service Station". They had a fairly good selection of service manuals and parts books from about 46 thru 1951. They did stock one car at a time in the "showroom". The last car they had in stock was a 51 Hornet Four door. They kept it as a personal car and rolled it down the ravine behind ths shop sometime in the early sixties after it had served it's purpose..transportation... I did get a couple trim items and all the parts inventory including the manuals. I put the entire load in the back seat of a 65Plymouth valiant. I think I paid the pricely sum of $100.00 for the lot.

I remember going after a Hudson dealer, back in the 70's, in Carolina, RI, with the late Larry Wellman (he who cleaned out just about every dealer in the Northeast in the 60's and 70's.

Larry was one of those who paid by the box - offered $5 a box and most dealers sold them at that price.
