Transmission Reinstalled - just starting
The transmission is now back in the car - well, the two top temp bolts that are used to remove it are helping hold in place along with gravity, the mounting bracket and a block under the OD Unit. I will start the fine alignment and bolting things back together tomorrow.
I lost my local "free" garage after the school system changed their Auto Shop policy.
I had to pay for some help at a local transmission shop that let me hang out at the bench while they aligned everythign and got it all back together. Bench tested with big wrench and changed all the gears just fine. Was worth the $50.00 fee.
OD should work unless the eletrical parts are bad.
New gaskets, seals, cleaned and fresh paint to look nice. Should last me for a long time. A lot of work just to get the clutch plate refurbished.

Good learning experience, though, I'm sure. Keep us posted on the progress and the first "shake-down" run.0
