What ever happened to the Jet Conv't ?

Just thumbed through "The History of Hudson: Don Butler"
On page 316 on the upper left there is a artists rendering of a 1954 Jet-Liner Convertible and the detail does say that Hudson built 1 prototype of the car.
How fun would it be to have a factory produced 1 of 1 car!
Now that would be one to throw at Barrett-Jacksons and see what it would go for!
Butler also goes on to say that 54 was the last year for any Convertible Hudson production...0 -
I agree , wouldn't it be great to show up to Hershey or a Hudson event in the Jet conv't. When I was at McCungie it would have looked good under the Hudson Tent.0
