Disc Brakes
I purchased disc brakes from guy in NC. Had problems with them getting real hot. Took them to brake shop and had them power bled and adjusted. Finally I stumbled on how to set it up. (Used everything in directions). Take the adjustment off the rear brakes. Then loosen rod going into master cylinder. Adjust rod out until front discs have drag then tighten adjustment on master cylinder rod. Then adjust rear brakes and you should have good brakes.

FYI
Another thing will help prevent long pedal travel or brake drag, is a 'residual valve' after installing front Discs.
They install easily inline either in 2lb or 10lb versions especially for cars with master cyl's located under the floor and act like a check valve. They make residual valves for 4wheel discs St Rods and Rods with discs & drums setups starting at $11.
I use one from Ebay.......0 -
Yes I have residual valves as per his instructions, dual master cylinder too.0

I am going to use a conversion system from ECI out of CT and he specifically calls for residual valves in his kits (I've ordered for Mopar). Just waiting for my dropped uprights from Fatmans. He makes them for Studes, Packards, etc. I'm going to talk with him about Hudsons when we next talk. He has a nice kit for our '56 Dodge and personally I think better than AAJ's. And a lower price as well, though that is secondary to a well put together kit for me.0
