That car looks great, how does it drive? Give us the specs, what's in it. Bob0 -
Bob,
It's all stock; 262 with a hydramatic. It drives really well, smooth and steady, just (a little) soft in the corners. I found that (at 70 mph) I really had to pull it into the curves. I guess thats 'under-steer'. We had a lot of fun driving all those miles, even without a radio!
The transmission upshifts sooner than I'm used to, but I think that's because of the engines torque range. I am suprised at how uncomfortable I am without seatbelts. I don't feel that way in my Model "T" but the Wasp goes a lot faster and the seats are bigger.
There's a hundred things I think about doing to it: Twin "H", 232 head, Pertronix, big Maas cam, header,.. but it's a happy car now and it's only original once. I'm going to leave it alone and continuing driving it for a while. It's pretty big fun right now!
Herself is hinting about trying out the back seat; What a woman!
So, we're pretty darn happy with this one. I'll tell you all about the eurethane bushings (but not the back seat).

Roger, I love stories like that, just drive it for a while and enjoy it. You will find that every where you go people will stop and talk about that great old Hudson. Richie.0

Love the car.... All that, and my color of choice. I vote for leaving it the way it is and driving the crap out of it......0
