Thanks for an interesting, kinda off-veat article, Aaron. I can't imagine driving my Hudson in Chicago traffic... the worst I have ever experienced. You gave lots of "other" drivers a lot to think about when they encounter one of us slower guys on the road.

Well it's a little of both. A series of articles on the classic car hobby in general but it's kinda supposed to have a regional slant. Which isn't easy to do in a way because there's lots of generalities you can make about the hobby that apply across regions or even parts of the world. But I'm also trying to write the series of articles without assuming that they might only be read by people in the hobby. Trying to make it informative. It is afterall the "world wide web"

Obviously you haven't driven in Boston or Montreal, Quebec. In New England it is said that Boston drivers train in Montreal and take their qualifications in New York City before they are allowed to drive in Boston.



On the other hand on a recent trip to the San Antonio/Austin, TX, area I found the traffic in the Austin to be worse than I ever saw in Boston. But, then again, maybe it's because I wasn't that familiar with the area - I was traveling thru on I-35.

Back in the early 80s, after three years in the Tokyo area followed by three in the Boston area, my wife and I had to get de-programmed when we moved to the Carolinas!

Alex... Austin is just about the same as Boston... but with a LA flair! :cool: You have to remember one of the real tests of BOSTON driving prowless is coming out of the tunnel and heading for 3 North. Just mash the gas and keep looking ahead...:eek: ... not that this will freak out the locals is just gets the tourists otta the way.... LOL. Austin is a place to avoid, personnally,if I am on the way to SA or further south, I use the toll way to avoid the mess.
