1931 essex coupe for sale

time to move on. 3 month old baby, the coupe isnt much use to me anymore.

1931 rumbleseat coupe, super six. clutch religned, 4 new firestones, tubes and rimstrips. new headpipe and glass pack muffler. car was painted black back in the 60s. interior redone around that time too. paint shines up pretty nice, has scratches and what not but still looks decent. i think. chrome, not so nice. nice solid complete car. runs drives. there is the engine that is in it, and plus another pretty complete engine and trans with freewheeling unit. i have a couple boxes of little spare parts i have collected. being almost 80 yrs old, it does use oil. 12,000. or b/o.

ahhh. i figure i might as well try to let some one enjoy it for what it is. i wanted to build a hot rod, but its a pretty complete car. some purist might really like it. no point in me tearing it apart and still not be real happy since its not family friendly. i picked this car up wanting to get away from the muscle car hobby, and i nthe emantime i picked up another mopar muscle car that i really like.

OH well, techinically you have 2 of them at the moment LOL

In the years to come you will be able to reflect on this time and say I had one of them and it was rare then

im going to have to get more pics. ive been working some whacked out hours, the car is blocked in the garage by 2 pallets of stone and we just got a little winter storm with some snow.

ahh no one likes my 2 cents. im not real sure if the guy will join up, says hes not real computer savvy. i did give him the het roster and an application to the het club. i guess ill pop in from time to time. i did see a rusty essex body going for real cheap and the grill shell for sale else where. that is more along the lines of what i want to do. who knows. i still have the rover engine and stuff that i wanted to stick in the 31.
