53 Hornet 2 filament bulb holders

Are the turn signal/ front park light bulb holders on the 53 Hornet a Hudson only item or a generic holder?



I've had a hunt around at some auto electric supply places, there are modern holders that sort of fit, but are of poor quality.



If they are a generic does anyone have part numbers for a reasonable quality item?

I believe YnZ and Rhode Island Wire carry sockets that will work. I bought used ones from Al Saffrin from AZ. check with Jason Albright or Bill and Charlies for good ones or NOS.

You may get the generic ones to work better by adding a ground wire to the base. That way you do not have to rely on a good tight fit to the light housing.
