I have just started a new vintage car dedicated forum with no advertising and no bull-s h i t. The website is for the car loving community and not the money loving web-masters!

Feel free to take a look, its nearly complete!

Good luck with your website! One suggestion since you are working on aesthetics, change the font (style) on the introductory pages. It's difficult to read and I'm sure that's especially true for folks that are not native English speakers.

I don't mean to be negative, but you are entering a "mature market" of old-car related websites which have now been in operation for years. The AACA has a splendid and well-populated one, and the Classiccar website has been in operation for many years now. I count at least four active Hudson websites, including the offical H-E-T one. You are entering a saturated marketplace. I wish you well, but you might want to consider some "angle" that makes you different, and gives you a "niche".

Joel Cummings...That's a pretty pompus attitude to be throwing around on our forum.

Personally, with that attitude alone ~I wouldn't register with his site.

This forum probably makes very little on their advertising - especially compared to the time, effort and money it takes to keep it up and running.

My guess is this guy is just phishing for emails

I'm happy right here, thank you. :)

Besides, I just got the hang of posting pictures I don't want to have to learn a new way of doing that or anything else. Although I still don't get how to write in between the photos.:o :D

I suspect one of them is mine; then there's Ken Cates; of course there's Gregg Maroney's On-Line library site - so there's at least 3 that are active, Russell.

If you go to the HET club site @ www.hetclub.org and click on HET Club, then on Resources and finally on Other Links there is a list of HET members web sites - most all of those are personal sites but some have a info on them.

A relatively new site in Colorado, while catering to just about all old cars including the Hudson family is @ http://classiccardatabase.com/index.php - There is a ton of Hudson data on that site. A lot of it is questionable, but Robin, the web master, now has a copy of my General Information Handbook so her Hudson web site should be corrected sooner or later.

The reason I asked is because I know of a lot of Hudson web-sites, but I think Jon was referring to forum-based Hudson websites and was just curious as to which ones he was referring to, that's all.

Thanks, Jon. Yes, familiar with all of those.
