50 Pacemaker starter & interior ???
My starter sometimes zings & does not engage, after a couple tries it works. Where can I get the starter rebuilt?
I just took the inside door panels off to recolor & replace fabric inserts to match new seats. The inside of the door has a black heavy paper over the metal door. Some doors are missing this paper. Where can I get this or what type of paper should I use for replacement? What about the red Rosin paper used under laminate floors?
Thanks for helping!

Sounds like either a stuck Bendix or damaged teeth. The starter on my 50 Pacemaker did this when I first got it. I would suggest removing the starter and inspecting the teeth on the gear and the flywheel. In my case the teeth were fine, but the bendix would stick. Clean it really well and lube it with some light oil. I did this five years ago and it has not stuck once since.
Good Luck!0
