How Bad is Too Bad?

I've finally gotten around to taking inventory of what I have from my parts car. It was run into a tree about 35 years ago and the hood and front fenders are pretty folded up. The driver's door is pretty twisted and the passenger door won't quite close. For the most part, these parts only have some surface rust. Most of the equivalent parts on my "good" car seem pretty solid so I don't think I'm going to need them.

The question is, are they any good to anyone or should I just scrap them to free up room in the garage? They would take a lot of work to be useful, but I hate to just throw away something that hasn't been made in 60 years, no matter what the condition.

Any rules of thumb for how bad something has to be before it is too bad to be useful?

Thanks.

How badly does someone want to refurbish them is the real question. What year and body style are these doors off of?

    '50 PaceMaker parts..

I vote to keep them. I have rarely thrown something away and later not regreted it! Perhaps someone can use a part of a fender for patching a rusted one.. ya never know.. I like the definition "does it cast a shadow?".. Good enough for me.. Besides that.. you have PLENTY of room.. maybe get rid of a Buick or two? LOL:eek:

Well, you'll never need em if you keep em around, but as soon as you chuck em someone will call and ask about em. So my theory is if I keep all this junk around, it guarantees I'll never need it. :p

I'll take the 36 "Low cab" Chevrolet from Waterton......

I have no idea where the photo I posted is from. Someone sent it to me and I liked it so I added it to "my pictures." I need to get my camera out and shoot a few photo's like these. The lots around me are disapearing faster than they should be.....

Well in my "Humble Opinion" it all has to do with what are you willing to do to make it like you want it. Some folks will do anything and others will do no more than write a check.
