    I used to own a '37 Hudson Custom 6 touring sedan in the late seventies and early eighties. It was a beautiful car. Sorry I sold it. This pic was taken in 1979. My son sitting on the running board is now 33

    Great video. I do have to take exception to one statement - the "idiot" lights, called "Teleflash" signals by Hudson, was introduced in ether 1930 or 1931, not 1937.



    I know, I know - picky, picky, picky. :D But if we weren't picky things would just get more and more wrong.

    Turn on your speakers! LOL! Seriously, I am able to hear the car and love to hear those transmissions of that era. I owned a very similar car in the 1960's and 1970's: a 1937 Hudson 6 Custom touring brougham, banjo steering wheel and all. I purchased the car from Gene Davis around 1965 or 1966. The price? $650, and Gene wouldn't come down one cent on the price! It was like new inside with only 14,000 miles. That's another one I regret ever getting rid of.
