52 (5B) 2dr Super Wasp Brougham $8000
Going through a divorce and need to sell this sweet car of mine...
Here's the list of things that have been done:
Engine/Tranny
Original 262 rebuilt will all new internals by Linden Well of Fort Morgan (he’s the HET club chapter pres.) Original Hydromatic automatic transmission functions perfectly, I’ve pulled the tranny pan and replaced the fluid which was perfect to begin with…replaced all seals.
Fuel System
Fuel tank was sent to Moyer Tank Renew for complete redo and it will never rust again (guaranteed by Moyer), all fuel lines and fuel pump have been replaced, the carb has been properly jetted and cleaned, all filters have been replaced as needed.
Electrical
Converted the 6v pos ground system to a 12v negative ground system with alternator with proper belts, Painless (18 circuit) wire harness, all new Classic Instruments gauges and fuel sender, updated headlights with a remote relay setup as to not overload the control switch, all emblems light up as they should, turn signals have been added (with hazards), interior white LED courtesy light setup, interior red LED light setup for night driving (gives a very cool appearance as you’re driving!), I’m an IT guy with attention to detail so I’ve mapped out ALL electric circuits broken down by systems using a vector program similar to CAD, new louder horns (currently are not hooked up, but could be very easily), all new ground system, new Optima Red Top battery, during winter I trickle charge and periodically drive as weather permits to keep all seals fresh and rubber pliable. Every socket on the car has been replaced with standard sockets which accept all the standard 12v bulbs.
Brakes
Replaced all brake lines, master cylinder, pads, wheel bearings, manual brake light switch (instead of the fluid pressure type), emergency brake lever does not work but the emergency brake system does work (that was by design from Hudson so if you lost fluid power braking you would then actuate the manual system and still stop!), radial tires all around, Moon caps on the front tires which look great, brakes have been properly bled and adjusted.
Suspension
All original suspension. I’ve replaced most of the rubber grommets under the car with the exception of the A arms and center point steering components. The rear has been lowered using lowering blocks from Moon (which could easily be taken out).
Body
The body is really in amazing shape with only minor dings and scratches. Any good body guy could take care of all of those things very quickly. I’ve shaved the deck and hood which gives the car a much more sleek appearance that the Brougham model really deserves. The door locks do not work, the rear lid locks. I have a brand new rechromed rear bumper and bumper ends from Glenn Johnson that I haven’t installed…this bumper is the one without the notch for the license plate which would further enhance the lines of the rear of this car. I’ve replaced the rear taillights with the reproduction KGap models and included blue dots in them with the blue dots having their own independent LED light source witch really makes them shine! I have not shaved the outside door handles. The window rubber could use replacing as well as the wind lacing. Under the car there is no rust, the only rust was in the passenger side floor pan which has been replaced. I believe this car has been in Colorado as there is hardly any rust on it anywhere and if there is it is surface rust which is easily brushed off.
Interior
The original floor mat has been removed and I have sound dampened/heat shielded the entire car using a product similar to Dynamat. All of the seats and door panels are all original in the Hunter green solid/weave combination. The headliner is original and in great shape considering her age. I have has the dash professionally painted and reupholstered (the area from the dash to the front window) in black leather. I’ve sought out the best chromed part for the dash that I could find, it looks smashing in black and chrome.
There really is too much to list here…and I have a bunch of extra parts such as the rare “porkchops†and rear stainless trim pieces. I also have an entire Craftsman tools chest (double decker) full of tools that I would throw in as well…I really just need to move this wonderful car.
sorry for such a long post but I trust you understand that divorce the worst thing next to death that one can exprerience and I simply need to sell this beauty.
Warm Regards,
Adam

All,
As of yesterday, there is a gentleman who is sending a retainer until he actually sees the vehicle which will be in a week or two. At that time he will decide whether he would like this great car or not.
If he doesn't, I'd like to know who would still be interested in it, please email at foresaken80206@yahoo.com
Thanks all!
