232-262-308 tri-power intake forsale
Guys,
I really hate to sale this but I need the cash. My job ends on the 20th of March and I have not been able to find any work yet. This is one piece I have had for several years, saving it for a Hudson 308 powered hot rod but its time to let it go.
Its a custom made tri=power tunnel ram manifold with three matching modified Stromberg WW 2bbl carburetors. The carbs need to be gone thru but appear complete with the exception of one clip that holds one of the accelerator pump arms on. There is no linkage.
The pictures show everything bolted together. I did install this on my PaceMaker to check hood clearance and they do clear but there is no room for air cleaners at all. The total clearance is about 3/8" to the inside of the hood.
It was made by brazing the tubed into a set of factory intake port flanges. I did have to grind down the top of one port to work with my Clifford headers but they fit the engine perfectly.
Right now I would like to get $1500 for the set up. Its unique and I have never seen or heard anybody talk about one like this.
There are little tubes welded to each plenum chamber to attach 1/2" hose to balance the intake pulses out. These were dry rotted when I bought it so they will need to be replaced.
contact me through the private message link here on this page.
thanks,
