If this is here, it's available.

1947 Hudson Commodore Eight
Engine: SV I-8, 128 Hp

33,000 original miles!
It's been in a museum for the past 15 years.

The 1947 Hudson Commodore Eight was the top-line series in Hudson's early postwar lineup. The big eight gave the Commodore strong performance, and you also got nicer trim than in the Super Six.
Production: 12,593

  • Ken, Thats an interewsting car at what appears to be a decent price. I'm curious though. Would many top of the line cars NOT have fender top lights? Step ups are not my specialty so I'm curious.

yes, the Commodore series had the fender lights as std. equip., the Supers did not but were an option.
  • OK so why does this Commorore have none?

Maybe it was built on Monday morning and the fender light guy hadn't sobered up yet?
  • Jon, You mean his lights were still out? I'm beginning to understand.

What's the VIN? Maybe it's another "constructed Commodore."
  • Listing has ben "Flagged for removal", whatever that means.
