Russian \'48 Commodore for sale
I received a message from a gentleman with a 1948 Hudson Commodore for sale. The automobile is in Chechen republic (part of Russia). But it can be removed to Ingushetia, if anyone is concerned about the situation in that republic nowadays.
To paraphrase what he said, 'The automobile is in quite good condition, but face lifting is necessary. The bottom is a little rusted. The engine has been replaced in 1985 (it seems) with a GAZ24 engine, for the reason that at that time the owner could not find spare parts. The upholstery also not original, but is in good condition.'
