thank god for good weather!!

Hi All,

I am glad that we are having nice weather for a little while,this last weekend was nasty..winter wouldn't give up without a fight!! LOL !



I have had my daily driver worked on over the last 2 weeks..new gaskets and seals in engine,valve job..stuff like that. But yesterday my service engine soon light came on..sigh, I took it back to the shop this morning, hopefully it is covered by the warranty the shop gives-12 month/12,000 miles.

Anyhoo...I decided that the '49 was need to come out of storage for the winter.



I started it a couple of times over the 3 and a half months it was garaged...It would start with a little reluctance. But today she started and ran like a top...I missed the smooth ride and the nice sound of the engine. I had no problems with getting reaquainted with shifting ..tho I think I will get a T-shirt made that says: My car is specially equipt with ArmStrong PowerSteering, 940 A/C, static radio and aerodynamic rust venting..with a pic of my car below it!

Lisa, you made me "THINK" 940 A/C, "Cowl vent" , Maybe it should be 960 A/C. YES! thank God for good weather!!
