This is a long shot, but have you contacted SMS fabrics? http://www.smsautofabrics.com/ They have some exact matches for certain Hudson fabrics.

I've been around Hudsons all my likfe, and I'm sorry to report that the picture you have shown above is not original material for a 1951 Hudson Hornet, or any other year or model that I can recall.

I'm glad somebody else brought that up . . . I've never seen a Hudson with that pattern, that's for sure.
  • I thought it was just me... never seen it either.

This request smells of scam. I could be wrong.

I think I had a pair of pants with that fabric in the early seventies.

And let me guess. A pair of two toned shoes as well. LOL. Yep been there.

I did, too! I've even got a picture to prove it.
  • It's odd that there has been no subsequent communication from the original poster.......

Reminds me of a come-back line from a comedian when a guy in a loud, plaid sport coat heckled him- "Ya know, whenever I see a coat like that I get a little sad, to know that somewhere, there's a '53 DeSoto running around without any seat covers."

I had some lawn chairs with fabric like that years ago. I'll bet the guy hasn't posted back because the guy who sold him the car told him the material was authentic, and now the sad truth is becoming clear to him. Would be interesting to see the whole car:rolleyes:

Did you have white belt to go with those 70s pants?

Yes, and I might have had the white shoes to go with it! Thank GOD the '70's only lasted 10 years.;)
