For the Hudson Collector Who Has Everything...

Now that is something even I'd love to have. Oh, well.
The name, Machevsky, intrigues me. I have 3 or 4 photo's in my Hudson Family Album, 1909-1919, of the 1916 transcon run. The only people identified are A. H. Patterson, car owner
and Hudson dealer in Stockton, CA, William Sturm, trip manager a "factory mechanic" who, tho not identified. is probably Machevsky, who was "an expert machinest" at the Hudson factory. There was a 4th man, also not identified, who, we assume, took the pictures - he is shown in one photo sitting in the rear seat. The photo probably was a time exposure allowing him to be in the car.

OK, I must not be the "Hudson Collector" who has everything. I bought a "Car Clock" in Montana last weekend. It was not built for Tiffny, and was not signed by anyone--but it keeps perfect time for about four days? I gave 20 bucks for it--- I must be missing the vision of the importance of owning this watch. For that amount of money I could purchase a nice running Hudson on eBay.
Nice collector item though.0
