1950 Commodore 4 dr Wanted parts or car
Hello everyone,
We are starting restoration of a 1950 Commodore 6 4 dr and are in need of parts. We are dealing with a rust issue at the rear and are willing to buy a complete car to get the best possible body (parts).
The rest of the car is in quire decent condition to restore, grill is real nice, even the floors aren't rusty, just the outer rear panels. Looks to have been hit and improperly repaired.
A 1950 car would be ideal but would certainly consider 1948 or 1949 Commodores as the quarters as well as rockers, skirts, rear extensions, etc interchange.
Thanks!

Thanks for the craigslist tip. I have tried to search craigslist entirely and can't, I've dumped cookies and it keeps taking me back to Wausau.
My e-mail address is kelley@ccrutah.com

You may want to try Search Tempest.
It works well for searching Craigslist.
Just pick how miles out you want to reach out.

Thanks for the tip, I've never heard of searchtempest but it works great! I've found several leads and am hoping a good project will come out of it.

Another nationwide search site is:
www.jaxed.com - It asks at the top "Do you want the Mash?" Yes, you do.0 -
Best one I've found is www.allofcraigs.com. Gets me what I want to see every time.0

Thanks for all those search tips! We are still looking, lots of really rusty cars out there, even if the owner's don't think they are. Patience..........0
