Hydramatic shifts hard
The Hydramatic transmission in my Kaiser (which I assume is the same one sold by GM to Hudson) shifts quickly in and out of 2nd gear. Compared to the way it shifts into the other gears, I would describe this shift as being "rough". What is the problem/solution?
Thanks,
Jason

You need to unscrew clevis on end of rod that adjusts the trottle pressure. Go one or two turns and test drive, then you will know if you have to lengthen or shorten. fine tune it 1/2 turn at a time so shifting is smooth in all shifts.0
