voltage regulator

Is anyone able to cross ref a voltage regulator? I have a Standard VR-4, that I have on my shelf for some time. I know it fits the 53 big Hudsons since it was on my Hornet when I bought it, But I don't know if it is for the GGW generator( on the car presently) or the early 53 GDZ. What is the Amp max on this VR-4?

    Ron, my old book says the Standard / Blue Streak is for 53 - 54 Hudson GGW generator. No amperage rating given.
