Hi all,
Not sure if you've seen this before. Stumbled upon it.
http://boston.craigslist.org/bmw/cto/1788820136.html
The car is located in Lexington, Massachusetts. This car is completely unmolested and is very original and has a clear Massachusetts title. It had previously been in dry storage since 1974. It is equipped with a 262 cu. in. flathead six with a single barrel carburetor. It currently does run but not very well. Oil light is coming on and I suspect there is sludge in the pan. Brand new Optima battery in the car. It has a hydramatic automatic transmission. The color of the car is Texas Tan Poly with a complimentary Boston Crème roof. Body wise it is very solid. There is some slight corrosion around the stainless trim on the body. All of the brightwork is complete. There is rusting of the grillwork. Bumpers are straight and solid but will need rechroming. All of the pot metal pieces show pitting. Brake equipment has been worked on including all wheel cylinders and the master cylinder which have been replaced. All glass is good with the exception of the driver’s side windshield which has a U-shaped crack. Driver’s wiper is missing. The undercarriage appears solid with the exception of a small hole just under the driver’s seat and both inner perimeter panels showing rust through just under driver’s and passenger’s front doors. Some rust through in the rear perimeter frame where is curve toward the back. The passenger side rocker is worse than the driver’s side. The rest of the floor and the trunk are very solid. Both fender skirts are in good condition. New exhaust is on the car with the tailpipe needing to be mounted. The interior is complete and is in good condition for the year. Driver’s Upper seat cushion has a worn area. Door panels and dash are in excellent condition. Front rubber mat is missing. Headliner is acceptable but has some dry rot above the rear window. A reconditioned gas tank comes with the car. Just took old tank out of the car. New water pump. Rechromed fender spears. All new tune up parts inclusive of plugs, wires, points, condenser, and distributor cap. Asking $1900 for the complete package. Please call 781-698-8321 if interested.

I'm not sure who's car it is, possibly someone in the NE chapter. More pics on craigslist.
Regards,
Greg

The paint job looks familiar as does the car. But I'll be darned if I can put a name with it.

This vehicle looks very familiar... seems to me that it has been listed elsewhere in the past... possibly bought and flipped... interesting...
proceed with caution may be in order...
