My question is this...Which of these Carbs is the correct one for MY specific engine or is there a difference. I have the 776 adjusted for best performance and I still show on the plugs that after very little use I am running rich on the mixture...

Plugs are a dark black and are dry

Walt..thanks for the info, but I am still confused....Can I use either Carb on my 54 Wasp 262 engine. It had the 2115 on it when I bought it and I changed it to

the 776.

I guess what I am trying to find out if I am using the right carb for my car

  • The main thing is that the carb you are using has the correct metering rod and set correctly. My computer is down and daughter got me an iPad, am in Spokana, and will be home after we travel Canada, Queens highway east to New York, then route 90 to Ohio and have not decided to go 90 or80 back to San Francisco.
